, was funny, great stuff !!!?

Andrew Black says:

Thanks – exactly the info I was looking for. I enjoyed the family
interaction too.?

charles hendrick says:

Thank You for your video. All of you a$$holes that post nasty comments
probably work in those golf shops where a customer has the inconvenience of
dropping off clubs, waiting 3 days before the club is ready, paying way to
much money and finally they try and steal the original shaft that was
pulled. Classic. I like that your daughter keeps talking! Hilarious! God
Bless!?

bowlocks says:

shhhhhh lol?

jimbofatplum says:

cut through it real quick….lol.
you should have slung the club down and cuddled your little girl!?

MADD JACK says:

Could you not have waited until your kid went to work to make this video??

Mercury Meadow says:

no comment?

Tre Treyrton says:

Good vid, thanks bud!?

tigerbalm says:

Umm, u didn’t use beads or spine the shaft before installing? Hope no one
follows these instructions! So amateur, blind leading the blind….?

RioMo23 says:

So you snap at your wife and your daughter? Ya, I’m going to have to go
with tlhammond5 on this one, I think you’re a douchebag.

bruceky9 says:

@RUSSELL826 i’ve used tons of epoxies, used the kind from golf galaxy, or i
even use the kind you can buy from the hardware stores never had problems.

Cory Petree says:

… have you ever seen the finger nail polish remover labeled non-acetone..
that means it has no acetone… not sure if stupidest adult alive or small
child…

bogushavis says:

@bruceky9 I don’t think JPBill2 has ever replied to anyone. I’ve called him
out several times. I don’t think he even knows about his inbox. Before I
did my reshafts I looked at a lot of repair videos and he had put comments
on many of them. He is negative and often wrong. Lots of people of called
him out on his stupidity. But he never answers.

Steve Pete says:

Thanks for making the video. Now I know what to expect when I have my
extra-stiff shaft pulled (and replaced with a stiff) at the local golf
shop. Hopefully they’ll know what they’re doing and the head won’t fly off
and head 100 yards down the driving range.

Stuart Holla says:

haha cracks me up that saying quiet is snapping… shows how soft we have
all become… AWESOME video… helped me out a lot. thanks bud

bruceky9 says:

wow i must have missed this comment earlier. not sure where you get your
facts but im looking at a bottle fingernail polish remover right now and it
reads acetone nourishing nail polish remover, #1 ingredient is acetone,
damn feels good proving people wrong thanks. Also i use it to get the old
paint dust off thats it, i dont really want my head coming lose during
play. which one never has.

matt Russell says:

hey man what did you use for the epoxy glue what was the name of the glue?

lilflabio says:

what does tipping mean and is it necessary?

cautiontext says:

@bruceky9 what kind of epoxy did you use?

jashton9 says:

bruceky9, thanks for posting these videos, and I apologize on behalf of the
idiots that have responded in a disrespectful manner.

Craigyon says:

Thanks for posting, much appreciated.

bogushavis says:

I have now reshafted (8) irons, (1) driver, (1) 3 wood and have built (2)
hybrids from components. I’ve been playing the irons for a year (45 rounds
a year +/-). I’ve been playing the woods and hybrids for about a month (8
rounds +/-) and everything is holding together perfectly. Your video was
the spark I needed to get over the uneasiness of tinkering with my
expensive clubs. Thank you.

bruceky9 says:

Rio i think your the d bag here i dont know what video you watched but
saying cam quiet isn’t snapping. thanks for the input tool.

peartfaldo says:

Cool dog;-)

Brian Coverstone says:

Find and mark the spline of the shaft before you put it into the clubhead.
Then as you twist it in, you can finalize it by turning the shaft so the
mark is parallel with the club face. If you don’t line the shaft with the
face, it will cause a slight wobble during faster swings leading to
inconsistent hits.

bogushavis says:

How about having some 20 year old 0 handicap jerk argue with me about the
shaft I want? Never seen me swing and he can tell I can’t swing that shaft.
Been there twice. JPBill2 wants to believe that he was a pro on a level
with other trades that require years of training. But many of the issues I
listed were done by people that I know had many years of experience. They
just didn’t give a damn.

bogushavis says:

Things to have on hand: Old card table(don’t get near the wife’s oak dining
table!), garbage container, masking tape, hack saw, fine tooth file, razor
blade knife, acetone, “Q-Tips”, paper towels, sandpaper, cordless drill,
drill bit with sandpaper wrap (love this!) epoxy, mixing sticks, and
finally SPIT! Me, I would have had to head for the garage about 4 times at
least, but you had it all there, clearly you’ve done this many times
before.

tlhammond5 says:

Finger nail polish remover no longer contains acetone. You have to buy
acetone at the hardware store. But what’s hilarious is that you used it on
a new shaft. It’s used to clean old epoxy off of a pulled shaft. This guy
is a genius… Viewer beware!

bruceky9 says:

@bogushavis Yeah i agree 100%, The clup repair process worked for me wonder
what he would have done differently.

bogushavis says:

I have a newer bottle of polish remover. The number one ingredient is
acetone. You can still buy it with acetone in it. It is a good solvent that
will remove all contaminants from the tip.

Kobe Yoshi says:

well done.. even got the family backing it..

tlhammond5 says:

@bogushavis… I agree with your post. A lot of repair shops just don’t
take the time to really fit someone properly. This happens at a lot of the
big box stores. Too many young kids that have no clue other than what looks
cool and cost the most. And just a tip for you… Anyone doing the old lie
board test for iron lie angle checking is obsolete in my book. High speed
cameras or impact marks are the best way to check and adjust lie angles. As
for driver shafts… A launch monitor is the only w

Wyatt Adair says:

Great videos helped me a bunch

bogushavis says:

@bruceky9 I think he’s a retired golf shop guy. He resents you showing
people that this can be done at home. Guys like him are the reason I regrip
and reshaft my clubs at home. I’ve had a dozen clubs reshafted and many
more regripped. I’ve got a set of irons where the grip length varies by
1/2″ from longest to shortest. I’ve had 1/16″ gap between the ferrule and
the hosel. How about cracking the tip in the chop saw and installing it
anyway, been there. Installed the wrong grip on the new shaft.

steven warner says:

Great vid. Thanks. Where did you get the shaft from and are there any good
websites that you would suggest. I’m in the uk.

bogushavis says:

I would prefer to be fitted for a driver outside in front of a Trackman.
I’ve only gotten one good match up with a driver in a booth. That guy spent
an hour with me and I paid him an extra $30 for that service. It was worth
it, that driver was a great fit. That store went under. The rest of my
fittings were at other stores and the club never comes even close to doing
what the launch monitor says. The launch monitors say I can carry the ball
270, in my golfing dreams…

docunagi says:

thanks mate… very useful !

tlhammond5 says:

@bruceky9… You’re right, it doesn’t matter if it plays soft if you hit
well. However, I don’t care about your driving distance. I’m no short
knocker but I’m not a bomber either. I work the ball a lot and have an
extra gear to move it out there when needed. I played with DL III about two
months ago. I know he’s lost some distance over the years but he’s still in
top 50 in tour driving distance. I was right with him all day. And we shot
the same score at Tiburon. I will admit his putting was of

bruceky9 says:

@JPBill2 thanks jpbill2 ok what was wrong?? please tell me

bruceky9 says:

thanks for the nice reply bogushavis

tlhammond5 says:

@bruceky9… By the way, after watching your video again I realized that
you did tip the shaft incorrectly. Ping driver heads are standard bore not
blind bore. Blind bore goes all the way to the sole of the head like most
Titleist drivers. So you are playing a much softer flex in the driver.
Again… I ask that you properly educate yourself on topics before
attempting to teach others.

JC GOLF ACADEMY says:

great im going to reinstall my older set to practice.. using the spine and
FLO… im really excited thanks for home made tips… i got those producst
minus the epoxy where did u get that will any epoxy work?
