In the September 2011 “Athlete’s Issue” of Golf Digest, readers found a combine. TPItv’s Lance Gill ran down TPI Senior Advisory Board member Gray Cook to discuss the article in which, “Staff Writer Max Adler and Functional Movements Cook test your fitness with basic competency, core stability and balance exercises.”
Great conversation here. As a personal trainer and FMS expert, I always like that Gray Cook will say that you can’t make a program for a person until you get some background. Too many things on T.V. that generalize. Or clients that come in and say, “I saw this program on T.V.” My first question is always, who was the workout for? Who is the audience? -Justin List: Owner? of Better Bodies on Campbell in Tucson Arizona.
Im a fan of Gray cook…. but i am sorry – Ben Hogan would of laughed in his face, with the whole, FMS etc.
Now, Ben Hogan, he was a “PRO ATHLETE” !!! Found it in the dirt -? with a ciggarette in his mouth the whole time!
When Gray knows what made Hogan the purest ball striker ever, tell him to call me!!!
Fantastic guys! ?
Excellent video… Saw ur MyTPI episode with Cook, can u give some refrences where we can? learn some more of these corrective exercises? Thanks for vids and show.
Nice to see Lance and Gray covering these topics. Great discussion.?
