Steve Bishop says:

Hey Michael. I have never set a standard number of reps or frequency, but
I do adhere to the philosophy that a few times every day is better than
hours spent doing it for only a couple of days. The daily repetition is
more important the length of time it is done. That being said, if I were
to recommend it I’d say at least 3 times a week for about 15 minutes. If
you can manage a bucket of balls at an indoor facility, then try to get
through half the bucket. I don’t recommend trying to do it in the cold.
Missed shots will REALLY hurt?

Long time no see. I have always enjoyed your instruction vids. In
particular your “release” videos. I envy the way you can keep the clubhead
low and skimming the grass post impact. Similar to how Michelson has those
long and shallow post impact divots. My clubhead chops down too steep and
bounces back up. Take care.?

Thanks for going into so much detail about the drill. I saw John Daley on
the Golf Channel once suggest that you warm up by hitting balls with just
your left arm. He made it look easy but I found it very difficult. Good
drill for the winter months.?

Michael Barnett says:

Just started getting cold in CT so I might be doing this drill often. How
many sets and reps or amount of swings per day? Thanks.?
