Mike Nicholls says:

This is a great piece of swing fine-tuning advice.
FWIW, when practicing, I put a tee in the ground, opposite the ball to me.
This checks where my divot is actually happening (relative to the ball
position).
It is often surprising.
Thanks Mark.?

Foster Williams says:

Hey Mark great video, thanks for the tips. I was wondering about all of
your funny twitches before your swing, what are they for? did you make a
conscious effort to put them in to your game? What are your thoughts before
going into a swing? My only thought is ‘keep your eye on the ball’ that
seems to help me.?

Steve Evans says:

Wow Mark, I can’t wait to get out onto the range with a bucket of balls to
try and copy this one! Another great impact lesson.?

PaveLowExpert says:

Hey Mark, I know this is not related to the vid but do you think there is
such a thing as an ideal shot shape? Its interesting to me that most tour
pros play a draw, however some of the very best players in history play a
stock fade or pull fade. Case in point: Nicklaus, Trevino, Tiger, etc.?

robinsonji73 says:

This is something I struggled with. Particularly from practicing a lot on
carpet drive ranges. Now practicing on grass and can feel and see the
problem you mentioned. Tried a drill from the MeandmyGolf boys with placing
a tee a couple of inches in front of the ball and deliberately collecting
it on the way through, and developed a more downward attack angle. Still
not 100% there with it but does give you a visual aid, and taking mansize
divots now, instead of barely skimming the grass or thinning shots. ?

J. Lee says:

Hey Mark, I’ve noticed a lot of tour pros have a faster backswing these
days (especially with drivers). I always grew up learning to take away the
club slowly similar.. why has the “trend” of the speed of backswings gotten
faster? What does it achieve?

Thanks for always putting up great content!?

beau stirling says:

Hi Mark,my structure ,body shape and swing is very similar to his,my lesson
i had recently the pro’s suggestion was to get the FEELING of using the
weight of your chest and your left ear to get after the ball and finish
taller that what you are.hope that helps the more we share. ?

FairwayJack says:

good advice..but I think you are exaggerating the weight shift and the
straightening left leg…if taken literally the poor guy would have no ball
compression and suffer from early extension.?

hummingfish says:

I’ve never been able to understand the “pushing off the right foot” advice.
It seems more like the left drags the right with no push.?

abelian314 says:

Any suggestions on how to time the straightening of the left leg? I tend
to kick off too early in the downswing which causes the same problem you
mention in the video (and also has me pushing shots right), but I have a
hard time figuring out where in the downswing to begin the extension of the
left side.?

Mahavishnu80 says:

Not much wrong apart from a massive change in spine angle?!?

swbrett1 says:

Just tried this on the range, and Damn if it didn’t put 20 yards on every
iron in my bag.
Great vid mark?

CaptainNivek says:

Mark, is that area where you shoot the videos exclusive to you for being a
professional??

Phi Nguyen says:

hey mark thanks for the great tip when i do this straighten my left leg
through impact i tend to consistently hit off the toe does that mean at
setup im reaching for the ball to much? i dont go over the top.?

Godge says:

What is the difference between the AskGolfGuru android app and the Mark’s
Android app? And tnx for the great videos. please keep them coming!?

rustyshackleford says:

please do a review on the callaway super soft!!!!!?

OutstretchedOstrich says:

What’s the difference between what your suggesting and the early extension
swing fault??

Nathan Crichard says:
