David Carter says:

You must have tilt away from the target at address. On the downswing the
right arm returns to the side with a slight weight shift and from there u
must a little more side tilt away from the target.must be done in one
motion?

Great stuff. I’ve watched hundreds of videos on flipping. The only other
one that dealt with the problem being the shoulder turn was a video by Sam
Goulden golf. You also dealt with the turn being supported from the ground
up. I also noticed in your examples that the good swings had the upper arm
smashed against the chest.

spacefieldtime says:

tremendous videos………….albeit a huge possible cause is not
understanding ones own limitations could lead to not making the correct
adjustment…..

g scribling says:

This is my problem too. I’m a 0.5 handicap and a flipper. I can drive the
ball 300+ … My flip is a collapse of the left arm after impact. The ball
is gone by then so it really doesn’t matter but I hate the way it looks and
I think it’s giving me neck pain. Keeping the torso rotating is what I’d
already decided to do before I saw this vid. Now I’m sure it’s the right
thing. I’ll try tomorrow and see. It’s been aggravating me for years. I
want it gone!

in your other video u say the break down of the wrists is the cause of the
flip, and in this one u say its the sequence.which one is more important to
work on? great videos.

Awesome video! Great instruction from a golfer who used his own video
analysis to troubleshoot the swing and find a solution. Very inspiring.
Shame on all the gurus on youtube who claim to be instructors to not be
able to break it down like this. Maybe you should consider instruction.
This was great and very helpful. Thanks for sharing!

Ive always been a flipping flipper but im more determined now to fix it.
Trying a narrow stance and a shallower swing plane now to try to get more
rotation rather than the dreaded sway.

Swar Det says:

Yes, I would agree. Flipping makes golf very interesting… Shame,
embarrassment, higher scores, etc… fun fun

Grant Hilditch says:

My flippin’ ‘flipping’ trouble is so mental. I just can’t convince my
stupid body that its doing it wrong. My body wont believe that the ball
will get airborne unless I ‘scoop’ it into the air. Until I change my
mental picture of how to hit the ball I’ll never be able to stop the flip.
However I really enjoy being able to smash my driver 210 yards. I have that
cool reputation of being ‘sneaky short’

Kridian01 says:

Awwww, but flipping is fun! Makes golf way more interesting. Sky-balls,
thins shots, shanks… you name it. Fun-fun!

Swar Det says:

Thanks juicy… the flipping just wouldn’t go away. got tons better, but i
“run home to mommy” all the time. i think i cured the flip then it would
rear its ugly head… in my latest batch of golf i REALLY think i’ve cured
it for good. i’m not flipping any more and i know it… i can feel it…
and the video shows it. i just did a video this morning and am posting it
now. it’s called “hands ahead and shaft lean – key to professional grade
impact.” check it out. you’ll likey…

Swar Det says:

Thanks man.
