He’s so? fckn loud!
No need to shout !!!!! we have volume control? !!!!!
Everytime I watch these videos, I feel like I am in trouble. He? is yelling at me about my golf swing. X)
yes we would……………..Colin cannot hide his? man crush for Tom Brady
nice ones and very useful tips will help a lot to improve? my game
Interlocking is fine…it’s just personal preference whether one chooses to interlock or overlap. I interlock too because I feel like I have more control that way, and it’s more comfortable. Just make sure? you follow the rest of the tips in the video and you should be good.
I think? if Colin Cowherd and Michael Breed switched jobs for a day a whole lot of people wouldn’t even notice
He never addressed interlocking the fingers (which is what? I do)….
And I guaran-damn-tee you he gets more tail at 50 than most guys get when they’re 25. Michael Breed is a pimmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp!?
Pretty sure when he says thumb pad he’s talking about the thumb side of your palm, having your left thumb more on the thumb side of? your lifeline
Michael Breed is 50 years old! No way I would? have ever guessed that!
This is really good stuff, I am doing as suggested and? it did really worked for the best
breed is? usually pretty good, this video was confusing and rushed. i dont think the thumbs should be along the shaft either
After watching this video I will continue to grip the club in the palm of the left. The best swing of all time 1999-2003 Tiger woods had a rather weak grip of primairly the left hand. For the average? guy who can’t get the ball to draw, yes maybe the fingers. but If consistentency is the main goal do some strengthening exercises with the left and grip it in the palm! Works best for me especially from scoring position.
One of the most important things he left out is this; You must have very light grip pressure with the right hand. Watch some of Freddie Couples videos in slow motion and you will see that his thumb and forefinger actually come off the grip through impact. If you? have to much pressure in the right hand you will lose power and accuracy!!!
Agreed, this was rushed, he stated “you don’t want both pads sitting on the thumb (note camera angle was way off). How exactly would? you put both of your thumb pads on one thumb? I assume he meant club but ??? also he said if you feel like the fingers are pushing against it??? what It ??? the hand/the club?
Thanks great tips!?
Tom Watson in his book The Timeless Swing advocates a Vardon grip using mostly fingers. Exactly what Breed advocates. So, I’ll go? with Watson over Hogan here.
“Hold it in the fingers,”? doesn’t that totally contradict what Ben Hogan said. Which is correct
Best teacher out there – this has helped me take my? game to another level
More control and better feel

And if you do put the club more in the hand, you’ll be a better golfer. Moe? norman = best striker ever. Check the natural golf grip. This is the best grip for all swingtypes.
Maybe if the guy didn’t sound like he was trying to sell something and actually slowed down to TEACH the proper grip, this may be helpful. Grip? is important, and it can’t be taught speaking 100mph.
Whoa this proves there’s more than one way to swing a club. Hank Haney teaches the exact opposite; to hold the club on that diagonal plane across your hands. He always tells the story of how Tiger did hold it all in his fingers like Michael teaches, and Hank? always thought that if Tiger switched it to what I’ll call the “diagonal method” that Tiger would hit it better. Tiger switched it, and hit an amazing shot and never changed his grip since. Just proves there’s more than one way to do things!
