@thebuckley98. Go get some lessons before you? concentrated on your equipment

TheBuckley98 says:

I’m a new golfer with a horrible slice, on my driver especially. I was wondering what kind brand and model of driver? would be best for me?

Taylormadefan1996 says:

Question-what was your handicap when? you were 16 ?

Andy Barton says:

Thanks for the ‘hands out’ tip?

lathaenbaylis says:

Mark why is it I’m a range master hitting where I want with good contact but off the mats and on the real stuff it’s not at all the same .. As u can imagine practice on grass isn’t an option for some .. Do u have any tips to get the most out? of my range time that works good on real grass .. Many thanks larry .. Ps got some Wilson fg tours from one of your reviews great zlubs

I would check the wrx golf forum or hackersparadise on it, endless info and opinions. Shaping shots out of varying lies sounds like it came from a Titleist promo though, although since your looking at a higher degree utility could be fine. What degree is your 4i? These days the lofts are so jacked a 4i is at 24 or lower anyway, TM has there new rocketbladez 4i at 20? ffs.

Jackson McDougall says:

Probably should work on the short game if your a 15 and? can hit it that far too

Jackson McDougall says:

Cheers for the reply,
I play off a 2 handicap with CB’s and have considered adding a weak hybrid (24 degrees or so), I am considering the 712u due? to its apparent workability with shot shape and out of varying lies. Only debate going on in my head is the fact that the diference in a good strike with a 2 iron in comparison to a hybrid is basically the difference between a 5 iron and a wedge haha… whole different game

JamesElmsMusic says:

Mark great job as always! I have been watching your videos for nearly a year now? and they have drastically improved my golf game (25 to 11 handicap in 12 months).
I’m always amazed that in every single video there is a bit of advice/info that I can take and put into my golf game and swing.
Keep up the work mate

petecabrina says:

Gaming blades or CB’s? Because if you can game blades and are a good a ball striker? it may be worth considering but otherwise it would be better to just throw a hybrid in the bag. You really need to be able to test one though, no one can tell you if a utility will work for you or not, know several people, great ball strikers who simply could not get a utility to work and this was the Callaway X-Prototype, the 712u is suppose to be even more unforgiving.

RizzoB93 says:

Wow I? love the look of that 😀 thanks for your help 😉

petecabrina says:

You do not need Mark for this, go to one of the big golf forums. See the club Mickelson was using at the US open? A 12.5 degree Callaway 3 deep. There is debate that the current driver heads are actually too large and actually more inconsistent. Check out some smaller head drivers, Yonex has a 380cc head from years back, or a lower loft 2-3 wood; Cobra has one called the long tom but? you would have to replace the stock shaft but it is hard to go past the 3 deep.

RizzoB93 says:

But I just wonder what kind of potential distance I could get if i could keep the ball straight. I’ve tried almost? everything and all I can put it down to is that my driver has to much flex for my club head speed and the face is open on contact because of this.

MidasTouchTrading says:

Hi Mark, love the vids! I hear you say alot about ‘checking a persons numbers’ referring to trackman, gc2, etc. Can you please explain what exactly you mean by this, and what you would look for and how that would relate to a players swing? I have booked myself in to use one at a local golf store and I really want to understand what they all mean before I go.? Thanks!

Jackson McDougall says:

Hey mark, was just wondering if you could please review the? new Titleist 712u? It’s a custom order club so very hard for me to find one to test over here in NZ!! I am considering the 2iron to fill my 200-220 yard gap i have between my 5 wood and 4 iron. Cheers

Edaddy916 says:

I’ve noticed that in my wedges, I consistently catch them a tad to close to the heel causing me to lose some distance. I was wondering if you Mark, or anyone else,? could provide a possible tip!

finneycent101able says:

Is it bad if the club touches my? shoulder in backswing?

JCough2012 says:

Hey Mark, could you (if you haven’t already) make a video describing “throwing the club.” I play close to scratch golf but as of late I’ve been catching my shots a bit thin and losing a little bit of distance because of it. I seem? to catch the ball just a tidge too early and it becomes a bit frustrating. Perhaps the last video you analyzed is similar to what I am asking.

Dan Bowen says:

i see no need for you to use a driver if you hit 3 wood 300 yards.? especially off 15…

TransformPeople says:

Mark, your last point is exactly what i have been working on recently with regards to pushing the arms away. great advice? as always!!

ajcgolf69 says:

Hi mark, great golf swing weekly fix as always. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I’m about? to purchase Mizuno Mp-64’s and getting them one degree strong in loft. Could you maybe do a vIdeo on how much bending the loft/ lie angle of clubs bounce or angle of the leading edge. Is it minimal, none or a noticeable difference? Thanks in advance for any response, keep up the good work

ajcgolf69 says:

Little? bit of the Jonas Blixt shoes going on there Mark

Clayton Landells says:

Another option regarding very long and dense rough is to take a penalty drop? if you are able to for an unplayable lie. Should save embarrassment ans/or injury.

RizzoB93 says:

Hi Mark was wondering if you could make a video about using alternatives to the drive because of confidence. I play off 15 and use a 3 wood off the tee and would love to be able to go back to using the driver again. I am a big hitter coming close to 300? yards with the 3 and feel i am loosing potential distance if i used the driver.
