This is incredibly effective! I’m imparting this into my full swing iron
shots and am getting much better consistency in strike quality, taking
divot past the ball. Most of us amateurs can’t get onto the forward leg
properly and hang back, so we just do better with the ball further back at
address. Ball flight might be a bit lower but the ball will penetrate wind
better and pick up a lot of spin. For chipping, I might add that keeping
weight onto forward leg is also beneficial. Great lesson, Mr. Sones!?
